Whatever it feels for you, we will work together to gain a pattern of what has led to these experiences as well as what triggers the depression. Through this work, you will learn what depression is, what is looks like for you personally, and how to manage it when it arises.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Generalized anxiety refers to that feeling of anxiety that takes over, can feel debilitating and even prevent you from living your life fully. Therapy is used to find tactics to understand what is contributing to the underlying cause of the anxiety, when to anticipate it, and to provide general and specific tactics to manage it.
Social Anxiety
Social anxiety is the type of anxiety that impacts that ways you interact socially or in public spaces. It can manifest as concerns that others will judge you, worries that you are not good enough in relation to the people around you, or fears of embarrassing yourself in public. This type of anxiety can sometimes be a barrier for social engagement. Therapy will be used to understand your social anxiety, gain an understanding of possible underlying reasons for it, and discover ways to help reduce the feelings.
